Sometimes I look back and think wow…time sure has flown by. And then I think about my days and think…Jane, you have worked an average of 8+ hours a day for the past 3 years! And you are supposed to be retired! Why? Well…let me tell you.
3 years ago I decided I wanted to be a blogger. I thought it would be fun. I thought I could share all of my life's experiences with you. I thought that maybe I could help you avoid the potholes of life and quit taking all of the detours that I took.
And so I went to work to become a blogger. I had NO idea how much tech was involved. I had NO idea how much typing I would be doing (I am so grateful for those typing classes in high school and college). I had no idea….about anything.
And yet, here I am, 3 years later, still blogging and pivoting…cause I found out that blogging is not a straight line journey.
In 3 years I have:
And…as I was doing ALL of that I pivoted. I learned from my community (thousands have joined me on this journey) and what they wanted from me. What they wanted to hear and know.
The biggies…stress & overwhelm. HUGE issues in us women. So, I wrote about Joyful Living…what does it mean to choose joy everyday and how you can NOT let the circumstances of life kick you to the ground.
And then I learned that….
Are the main reasons for the overwhelm. So, I pivoted again and really leaned into money. I leaned into teaching women how to create financial independence and freedom.
And now I am neck deep into writing a mac-daddy course. The ‘Financial Independence Society‘. This is my biggest endeavor yet. 48+ videos, 8 modules, 10+ spreadsheets. A BIG one.
This course will help so many women…which is why I became a blogger to begin with. I can help YOU figure out your money so you can confidently make decisions because you now KNOW what to do and how to do it!
1) That I need to listen more to what my community wants.
2) It's ok to have a plan and then pivot. The beauty of plans is this…they are yours and you can change your mind.
3) In order to be successful you need to put in the work. Those ‘get rich quick' are just schemes.
4) I love what I do and hopefully I can continue until I am 80 or older!
I want to thank you for being part of this journey with me. I sure hope you find all of the things I create for you valuable in some way. And, speaking of creating…go on and grab this FREE cheatsheet. You can definitely become a millionaire…it just takes some advance planning on your part. Being wealthy is NOT just for the wealthy!
And in case you need a few more posts about money…here you go!
