I used to be a BIG time scrapbooker. I think I have every picture of my kids in albums up until they entered high school. And then life happened and I never finished. Happen to you too?
I would crop and design and journal. Now, my handwriting is so terrible that I would type my journaling and print it out.
As I look back at those books I realize that yes, they are awesome. But I also realize that I TELL a better story than I journal. And I wish I had TOLD more stories in those books.
I have a new granddaughter on the way. I am ready to get out my camera and capture ALL of those baby memories! Photos AND videos. In fact, I just mentioned to my daughter that I wish all of her photos were digital…so I could grab them and create a bunch of Digital Memories.
Right now my photos app is a mess! I can't find anything. And, with over 30,000 photos (all those screen shots) there is no way I am going to find the time to organize them.
Do you put your photos or videos in files or categories so you can find them later? Nope? Me either. So I can never find what I am looking for…ever.
I knew there had to be a better way. I just knew it. And in my quest to save all of the important memories in my life, I found that if those memories were easily accessed, my family was more ready to watch videos or look at photos.
Which leads me to how to create a QR code –
What if:
You could watch or listen to a precious memory instantly, without digging through old files?
You could share that memory (including photos) with everyone?
You could add audio recordings to your scrapbooks in addition to your journaling?
You could create a card with a voice message in it? Or a video inside?
Sound too good to be true?
Well…guess what? It is not only totally possible…it is fun and easy. I will SHOW you how to create a code that you can scrapbook, print out, and share… a QR code. A QR code is a barcode that can be scanned with your phone. It can contain audio recordings, video recordings, photos, written messages and more.
You will learn:
How to create a code from a video…that you can share with anyone.
How to create a code from an audio recording….that you can share with anyone.
How to take a voicemail and turn it into an audio recording.
How to turn a photo into a code that can be shared.
You will also learn:
How to create a waveform image using a Spotify code.
How to create a waveform image from a voice recording.
PLUS so MANY project ideas. Here are just a few:
