Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. Now, I don’t look forward to getting toilet paper thrown in my trees…..and I hate being scared – but I do love the decorations and cards.

For some reason tho – Halloween seems to creep up on me and I am just not ready! This year was no exception – I needed to get some cards made.

I went thru my stash and found the awesome Mama Elephant Plushoween stamp set. And, fortunately, I had already purchased the Pretty Pink Posh Spider Web stencil.

I found the Deco Foil Black Flock in my stash…..I had never used this before and and I am in LOVE. I can see this amazing texture as a flower center, trees, leaves…..can’t wait to buy more colors!

The video explains everything and it is only 10 minutes long. Pretty quick for me! There is a bunch of information packed into those 10 minutes. This card was super easy to make – and the texture of the flock makes it so different and fun!

Here is what I did –

1. Sprayed the Pretty Pink Posh Spider Web stencil with Pixie Spray in my Splat Box. This really helps those small areas stick tight.
2. Using my Glass Media Mat I put a solid layer of Deco Foil Transfer Gel on a piece of Simon Says Stamp black Cardstock using the Pretty Pink Posh Spider Web stencil. I then let it dry for about 2 hours.
3. Placed the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets on top and ran thru my Mini Minc Laminator (I love this tiny powerhouse).
4. Stamped, colored and cut the Mama Elephant Plushoween images.
5. Stamped and embossed the sentiment on Ellen Hutson 40# vellum (love love).
6. Popped everything up with 3M foam tape and black foam.
7. Glued it all to a Gina K Tangerine Twist Card base.
8. Embossed a sentiment to a Simon Says Stamp black envelope.
