Every once in awhile a new release will speak to me – the WHOLE release in fact. I just love all the dies, stamps and stencils from this Pretty Pink Posh release. The surf board colors have endless possibilities – and oh so fun to color. Mixing techniques and changing up the backgrounds gives each of these cards a unique look.

For this card I stamped and colored about 30 surf boards with the Pretty Pink Posh Summer Surfboard stamp (EH | PPP) and die set (EH | PPP). I colored most of them with my copic markers. (The colors are listed below). I used my Zig clean Color Real Brush Markers for some of them. I then used the Pretty Pink Posh Tropical Background stencil (EH | PPP) with 3 colors of Distress Oxide Ink – Picked Raspberry (SBC | EH), Twisted Citron (SBC | EH) and Ripe Persimmon (SBC | EH). I blended with the mini ink applicators (SBC | EH). I cut the panel with the Simon Says Stamp Wonky Rectangle – one of my go to dies. The new jewels in Flamingo Pink (EH | PPP), Citrus Mix ( EH | PPP) and Luau Mix ( EH | PPP) finish it all off.

I used the same Summer Surfboard Stamp (EH |PPP) and Die (EH | PPP) set on this card. I used Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide Ink (SBC | EH) with the Tropical Background (EH |PPP). The sunshine die cut has 3 layers of Neenah 110# cardstock and then one layer of pink on top. For a bit of added shine I put Nuvo Crystal Glaze on the die cut. The ribbon is from my stash.

My daughter told me that this is her favorite card that I have ever made. She loves loves the Toucans! I used the Tropical Toucans Stamp (EH | PPP) and Die set (EH | PPP). Colored with Copic markers and put Wink of Stella (SBC | EH) on the flowers and the bird beaks. I white heat embossed Brutus Monroe Alabaster Embossing Powder with the Tropical Leaves Stencil (EH | PPP). I cut it out with a Gina Marie Scallop Stitch Rectangle then used Distress Oxide Twisted Citron ink (SBC | EH) on top. A few Picked Raspberry Jewels (EH | PPP) in the center of the flowers.

This simple card was fun too. I had the watercolor background left over from another project. I always keep my leftovers. I cut various colors out with Beach Scene die (EH | PPP) . There are 2 layers on the tree top, sun, and circle around the perimeter. Since surf boards are shiney I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the board.
