I LOVE making backgrounds for cards. Sometimes I just create backgrounds and save them for later. :). So that I can ‘shop’ my own stash. Very satisfying for me.
I knew I wanted to make 30ish cards and, as a result, I did not have enough scraps to use up – so I cut up 8-10 different colors of cardstock into various size strips. I did not measure – I just cut.
I then adhered Neenah 80# cardstock onto double sided adhesive. You can use Stick-it. I used Artdeco Creations Double Sided Adhesive. I then laid the strips on a diagonal. Again, no pattern. I just grabbed what I wanted. The video explains it all.
They were a lot of fun to make and I finished them ALL in 1 day. 30 cards – I think that is a record.
FYI – some stamp companies are NOT shipping right now…but they will ship, in the order the order was received. If you see something you like go ahead and order it now – so you can get it sooner than later before they are sold out.
ALSO – even if you don’t receive your supplies until after the quarantine is over…go ahead and make cards and send them later – thank you’s are always welcome. All the time.

I stamped ‘You Got This’ inside every card. The stamp set is CZ Designs ‘You Got This’ stamp set. Love this stamp set. Matching dies too!
These cards are to be set to various hospitals around my local area and where also my family works. I am sending them to those who work in the ICU with the Covid-19 patients – they expose themselves every day to help take care of others,
And that is it for now. I am really excited to mail these out this week. Hope you are doing well.
