Hi there – I have had a busy November and December. Normally I plan and complete my Christmas gifts in the spring. That way I can enjoy my Christmas season and focus on the baking and the wrapping. This year….not so much. I didn’t make 1 cookie this year!
In fact, I was so busy that I split up my Christmas Gift Ideas into 2. Please check out #1! You really don’t want to miss a thing do you?
(and all the tools and vinyl that go along with that) I found a few sewing, stitching and paper crafting projects as well. NOT counting the 100 Christmas cards I made (that I finished on 12/15 – whew!) You can see most of the cards that I have made.
Mid October I began to make my gifts. I had a list of things to make a mile long….and did NOT complete them all. Here is what I did make….and, after writing this post, I even surprised myself! Are you ready?!

These coasters are amazing. I cut them with my Cricut Maker and then ironed the design ‘into’ the coasters with something called Infusible Ink. The design is actually IN the coasters. I put cork on the bottoms and cut the matching box out with my Maker. I made 2 sets of these.
Amazon has great pillow covers that are pretty inexpensive. The chenille ones are so soft. I cut this design out with my Maker. I made 2 of these.
Every year I try to find personalized gifts for my friends. These were actually really easy to make and I have a post and video that explains them. I made 30 sets.
Who doesn’t love a Christmas towel. I planned on making 72. I ran out of steam and made 36 – I think I had about 10 different designs. They are flour sack towels. I made a few in Spanish for my Spanish speaking friends! I bought these towels and I love them.
Peeking out from underneath the ribbon is a cute stitched bear. He is made in wool felt. I made 3 colors – cream, light gray and dark gray (shown). He is intended to be a tree ornament. I made a cute matching tag too. This idea came from Nicole Spohr. I made 24 bears and 24 tags.
On the left are stickers for envelopes. On the right are tags. I think I made 80 stickers and over 150 tags.
I fell in love with this. I purchased the design from someone on Etsy. I could have made it myself but time was my enemy this year. I made 8-10 of these. So fun to wear while watching Christmas movies.
Another design I purchased from Etsy. I added the idea of the polka dots. The plates are from the Dollar Store (and cost $1). The bottles are from Amazon. The bottles have a lid and a red and white stripe straw too. Since I didn’t make any cookies this year we gave the reindeer carrots and Santa ate his Cheez-its. I made 6 sets of these.
The packaging for these little gifts is more exciting than what is in them. I made 35 of these. Aren’t they so dang cute?! The idea for ALL came from The Stamp Market – I just love love love ALL their stuff.
Homemade Vanilla Extract is awesome. I started the brewing process in July – I made over 30 bottles of vanilla. I had a “Give Away” in which I gave 2 bottles away just in time for Christmas baking.
My daughter, Nicole, her husband, Zach, my husband and I went camping this year. We LOVE Under Canvas. We had wifi issues….we were told to drive down the gravel road and where it meets the pavement we would find wifi. I made these mugs for the 3 of them!
I made quite a few t-shirts this year for the guys in the family. I made 2 with the above design. I made 4 with a different design. I gave Zach 6 blank shirts for Christmas. We then designed them together after he opened them. He picked the font and color! And even helped with the ironing!
I bought 24 of these boxes and a ton of paper shred. Most of the gifts are packed in these boxes.
This may sound crazy – but I make a spread sheet every year with my gifts across the top with the quantity of each and the recipients on the left side. I then figure out who gets what….cause I tend to get really confused. haha.
Happy crafting! Thanks for taking a peek! Don’t forget to look at Christmas Gift Ideas #1!!
