My summer is jam packed with vacations and people coming to visit. Card making is when I relax and I was thinking I would not have time to get in my room and create. But, I could not let the Lawn Fawn Summer 2019 release pass me by without buying anything! As a matter of fact, I wanted to buy it all! I fell in love with the Keep on Swimming Stamp Set and the Lawn Cuts – Stitched Speech Bubble and just had to say yes. I had a special person in mind when I began to make this card 🙂
I also made my very first card making video. Boy did I learn a lot. Nothing is ever as easy as it seems. I will be a technology expert soon – I can quit the card making and get a job……NOT! And I sure take my hat off to the people who provide Youtube videos and card making blogs on a regular basis – it takes a v.e.r.y. long time. Sure hope this helps you make a card or two….or three or fifty.

I started out with the Lawn Cuts – Stitched Speech Bubble. I cut it out of Neenah 110# cardstock. I then cut that out with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Square – I used the largest one. I stamped the sentiments with Lawn Fawn – Critter Chatter:Pets (SBC | EH)
I used Gina K Aqua Mist cardstock and cut it out with the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Squares – the largest one.
I used Gina K Seaglass Ink for the stamping on the Stitched Speech Bubble.
I stamped the fishbowl and fish food with Gina K Black Amalgam ink (EH | GK) – my go to black ink. I used the Lawn Fawn Keep on Swimming Stamp and Die Set.

I colored the images with copic markers – the colors are listed in the supply list below.
I cut a little hillside out of My Favorite Things Tranquil Textures with the Lawn Fawn Simple Stitched Hillside Border (SBC | EH). I also used a piece of the MFT paper as a layer behind the top piece.
I cut the sentiment out with Avery Elle Pierced Banner – layered (EH | AE). I love this banner.
I die cut a few red hearts from the Keep on Swimming Die Set, adhered it all to a 4.5” square card using Neenah 110# white cardstock.
And here’s to wishing______a Happy Birthday…….I really can’t tell you who. I don’t want to ruin the surprise.
