Hyacinths are some of my favorite flowers. And, when I saw this stamp set by Altenew it immediately went into my cart. The layered stamping gives it so much dimension that I never could have created on my own. I used the Altenew layering inks too – love love them as well.
I made 3 cards with 3 different looks – hope at lease 1 of them appeals to you!
Check out the video above for all of the how to’s –

First – I stamped the Hyacinths with the Altenew Build A Flower: Hyacinth stamp set used the Paper Smooches Fab Frame die [EH | SBC]. I then did some basic stitching where the holes were cut out. I choose a matching thread on DMC Pearle Cotton #5. I layered 3 of the dies for dimension. I stamped the flowers and leaves with my Altenew layering inks- all the inks are linked in the thumbnails below. I kept this card pretty simple and used all white cardstock. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Encouragement.

This card was a work in progress….as I was creating I kept changing my mind. But, I think this shaker card came out awesome. There are 7 layers of the Altenew Leafy Frame Die [EH | SBC]. The cardstock is My Favorite Things Grape Jelly.

This was the 1st card that I made. I used The Stamp Market Plaid Stencil for a light background. I blended with My Life Changing Brushes [EH | SBC]. The double stitching uses the Lawn Fawn Just Stitching Double Rectangles [EH | SBC]. The card base and the sentiment strip are Lawn Fawn’s Bluejay Cardstock. I put some dots of Nuvo Gloss Dandelion Accents [EH | SBC]in the middle of the flowers. The sentiment is from Concord & 9th’s Lots to Say stamp set [EH | SBC].
That’s it for today. Hope you are having a great week. And, if you have not tried any of the Altenew Layering Stamps I would like to encourage you to give them a try!
