Get well cards should be fun and bright. Don’t you agree?
I am a bit late to the party….as it pertains to these stamps and dies. The stamp companies are so creative that I just can’t keep up with everything that comes out on the market. So, I buy things and keep them in a container on my desk. That way I don’t forget to use them.
A few days ago I grabbed my supplies, created cards and totally forgot to turn my camera on for a video. Sorry about that! I was just so into it. But, I definitely wanted to show them all to you. Here are are the pictures and explanations. Super super easy to make!
Techniques for the above ‘Get Well Soon’ and ‘Sending Healing Hugs’ cards:
The finished card is 4.25” x 5.5” (except the 1 square card – it is 4.25”)
I stamped the floral wreath from the Simon Says Stamp/CZ Designs Healing Hugs stamp set
Stamped the ‘Sending Healing Hugs’ and ‘Get Well Soon’ from the CZ Designs Healing Hugs stamp set
Colored the wreath with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water pen
Cut out the wreath with the CZ Designs Healing Hugs die set
Cut 1/2” strips of black & white card stock. Glued them to the sides of the card
Cut the watercolor cardstock to 5 x 4.25 and glued between the black and white stripe paper
Popped the wreath up with 3M Foam Tape and craft foam
Glossy accents on the little berries
Little Things pearls on the some of the berries
