Knowing how chapters can sometimes unfold messily, I wanted to create a place where I can share my own life’s journey.
Including all the things that I love AND all the things that I have learned. We can then fearlessly tackle this road called life....together. And hopefully the ending of YOUR story is one of victory...loaded with joy.

A few months ago, while I was singing in church (the only place I am allowed to sing cause I am so bad :), I was moved to tears….because I was thinking about women and their hidden struggles with their lives. I was thinking about you specifically. Even though I might not know your name…..I know you. I feel like I know your challenges. Fears. Insecurities. Battles. Thoughts. Feelings.
I know them because I have or have had them…ALL…and maybe a few more. I know what it is like to hang your head in shame. I know what it is like to get frustrated and angry. I know what it is like to just wish things would go away or get better. I know what it is like to try and make change….and then fail…again! I know what it is like to feel like a failure, a loser or stupid. I know what it is like to think….’oh man, if this is it….what is the dang point?’
And them I met Jesus. My personal Jesus. And, I found out that God has a lot to say about me…..and ALL of it is amazing. He says the same about you too. Now, before you quit reading please hang on. I so desperately want you to live a life of victory. A life that is free of what others say….a life that only pays attention to what YOUR Creator says about you.
Way back in the day (about 9 months ago 🙂 I wrote a post called ‘Who Does God Say You Are’. Included in that post you will find a FREE PDF handout with 40 verses…all leaning into you and God’s love for you.
Since then, quite a few people have commented or emailed me about these verses. As a matter of fact, one woman told me that her ‘One Little Word’ for 2020 was worthy….because she was raised and grew up, thinking that she was ‘less than’ and NEVER worthy. My heart just aches for her and for others like her.
Now, in case you didn’t know, I became a blogger over a year ago. I felt that I had a lot to say (and still do) about navigating life. Most importantly, I felt that I had a lot to say to women. To you. My husband tells me that I am the wisest women he knows. I am not sure I agree with that but……I do have a way of thinking about things that is a tad different and I wanted so much to try and help you navigate your life – using the road blocks and detours of my own life. Learning through my mistakes. So that you don’t have to make the same ones I did.
As I have been thinking about you, I came to me that here is so much about you that you might not even know yourself. Do you know that –
Let me ask you this – if you don’t know Jesus, and before you reject him as not for you, how is your life working out without him? Are you happy? Content? Satisfied? Or are you wrung out? Tired? Irritated? Or, just plain mad? Do you feel shame? Do you feel unloved or even unworthy?
Jesus came to bridge the gap between you and God. He says ‘Come on home. I am here and I think you are perfect’. He says’ ‘Come…lean into me and I will give you rest’. He says ‘Come….I will hold your hand until you can walk on your own’. He says ‘I love you so dang much my one and only son died so YOU could have life’.
Because you are loved, worthy and enough….and daily reminders are always helpful don’t you think? I created scripture cards for you to download and print out. And, hopefully memorize them.
I am including 6 scripture cards (sample above). These are 4 x 6 cards. Print them out. Memorize them. And next time someone says you are unworthy…..tune them out, recite your verses (out loud or to yourself). Focus on what God says – not what people say.
I plan on creating many more scripture cards – make sure you have subscribed to Positively Jane so you don’t miss any.
Why did I create these? Well, let me ask you, who do YOU think you are? Do you feel worthy? Valued? Loved? Enough? Cherished? Do you feel like a princess?
Or. has someone (or a couple of someone’s) led you to believe that you are worthless. Ugly. Useless. Undesirable. Stupid. Unworthy.
I am here to let you know that NONE of those things are true. Nada. Not even one.
If you have not read it, the ‘Who Does God Say I Am’ is worth your time. You can download all the scripture verses too!
I will continue to pray for you and your journey through life. If you have a specific prayer send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Sending Mad Love today, with long arms that are giving you…..
