The Stamping Village came out with a GREAT stamp set this year. It features circle stamps that can be cut out with dies or punches. 12 different stamping companies designed 1 stamp each and it is called Holiday Seals [SSS | EH | SBC]
Jennifer McGuire showed a quick clip of the envelope seals and I then thought….what a GREAT idea for tags. I love making tags for gifts – I just hate to seen them thrown away because some of them take a very long time. This year I went with easy…and cute.
I love the stickers/seals too. I plan on packaging them up in little glassine envelopes and giving them away as gifts this year.
I either colored them with Copic markers (using a light hand) or heat embossed with Brutus Monroe Alabaster {SSS | EH] , Gilded [SSS | EH] or Sterling [SSS | EH] embossing powders.

- I randomly stamped most of the stamps from the Holiday Seals [SSS | EH | SBC] stamp set on either a label sheet or Neenah 110# cardstock [SSS | EH] using Gina K Black Amalgam Ink. [SSS | EH | GKD]
- I left room around each one for a die cut or a punch
- I left room around each one for a die cut or a punch
- I quickly colored with Copic Markers or embossed using Versamark Ink [SSS | EH] and Brutus Monroe Alabaster {SSS | EH] , Gilded [SSS | EH] or Sterling [SSS | EH] embossing powders. Make sure your heat gun is really hot 1st.
- I die cut using Hero Arts Nested Circles, Lawn Fawn Outside in Stitched Scallop Circle die [SSS | EH| SBC] or Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle – small die cut. I also used a 1 3/4” punch,
- I punched a hole in the top and used Lawn Fawn red/white twine [SSS | EH | SBC] and Lawn Fawn white/silver twine [SSS | EH].
- I stamped To/From on the back of the tags with Lawn Fawn’s Tiny Tag Sayings stamp set [SSS | EH| SBC].
