I love organization! I love being able to find all of my supplies. You too?
I LOVE cardstock. All those awesome and yummy colors. Rather than looking at each and every color that I have when I need a particular color, I reach for my swatch ring and pick it out from there. So easy! The same goes for my envelopes. This also helps me keep track of my inventory.
I searched the internet and found this great idea from Jennifer McGuire. I put this plan in place about 3 years ago and I still love it.
As soon as I receive a new color I set it aside for swatching. I use the label die cut to cut from the card stock. I then create a label with my Brother P-Touch label maker. I use 3″ binder rings to keep it all together.
I am always pulling these out of my drawers when I need to match colors – its a lot easier than sorting through all of my card stock!
I thought you might like to swatch and organize your card stock paper and envelopes too so I put together a short ‘how to’ video for you.

I have one last thing you might like too. I use Evernote to organize ALL of my crafting supplies. Evernote is especially helpful when organizing your stamps & dies. It helps you from buying doubles….or even triples. Check out this Evernote tutorial.
I hope this is helpful to you. Enjoy and happy organizing!
