Here we are…it's January…again. Now, you might love January! The new year. The fresh start. The anticipation of a better future. A better you. A better life.
But, what if you are one of the many who dreads January? Not because you don't like the month or the new year but, because you know that your credit card bill is going to arrive soon and you have NO idea how to make the payment. Because you spent way too much money during the holidays..again.
Would you believe me if I told you that you do NOT have to over spend during the holidays? Would you believe me if I said that there is a way to plan ahead, pay cash AND have a debt free Christmas?
I hope you believe me….because it is true. I am a big time budgeter. I have 120+ different line items. I save for the smallest thing (our golf cart insurance is $50 a year so I set aside $4.25 a month). See what I mean? Such a geek right?
This is the way I look at it….if you start early in the year, the amount you need to set aside is pretty nominal. Actually it coincides with that minimum payment you need to make in January. (If you start later in the year…it will take a bit more to catch up for sure. But, it can be done!)
Wouldn't you love to have a debt free January?
Now, I can't promise a debt free January…what I can say is this…your January bills do NOT have to include any holiday shopping whatsoever. None. Nada. Nope.
So, let's get started. I have put together an FREE 8 page workbook with instructions for you. It's easy to follow and pretty simple to do. And, since it is January….you have plenty of time to save for the holidays. Because they do arrive every year – whether or not you are prepared or save money 🙂
The best way to eliminate your credit card debt is to start a budget. I have a TON of budget posts for you. Don't miss out on any of these either.
